Due to social distancing and other virus transfer limitation guidelines, Kent businesses (in particular hospitality) face major challenges both in current business but also in future bookings/developing of sales funnels. It is inevitable that even when official guidelines are relaxed and /or more tightly focused, the general principle of avoiding unnecessary travel and contact will continue.

Maximise (Virtual) Exposure, Minimise Risk

• In some circumstances a "virtual" presentation (particularly if conducted as a live guided tour) may be an acceptable alternative to a "face to face" meeting. Examples include factory tours or others where the primary requirement is business reassurance.
• In others (e.g. selection of a office location, wedding or conference venue) the virtual viewing will help customers select a clearer shortlist (possibly with a wider geography) and create more better qualified/motivated physical viewings.
• Indeed, thanks to the new "live" viewing approaches, the tour can satisfy two levels of re-assurance;

  2. At a scheduled appointment time (or on request) "show me around, answer my specific questions and build a personal rapport.

The New Marketing Challenges / Opportunities

Many businesses/agencies/venues have traditionally used exhibitions/conferences and / or open days to promote their brand and /or sell future bookings etc. For the foreseeable future the same objectives will need to be conveyed online and virtually.

Virtual Training is a new area and interactive 3D/360° models of environments can be the ideal means of conveying (and testing/recording) knowledge of workplace or business practices including Health and Safety and specifically COVID-19 protocols and procedures.
